First Funds Signature Generator:

Enter your personal information in the form below and click "Generate Zig" to create your signature. The "Sample" box below shows how your signature will look on Microsoft Outlook 2003 and previous (Outlook 2007 will strip out the background image and replace it with a solid beige background).

Then go into Microsoft Outlook-->Tools-->Options and click the "Mail Format" tab and "Signatures" button in the Signatures section. Click "New" to generate a new, blank signature, and enter a name for the signature (ie. First Funds). Click "OK" to close the dialogue box, and "OK" again, to close the options panel.

Now browse to the signature folder, which should be C:\Documents and Settings\[Your Log-in Name]\Application Data\Microsoft\Signatures* and open the signature files you created in Notepad. There will be three files named after whatever you called the signature in Outlook (i.e., First Funds.htm, First Funds.rtf, First Funds.txt).

Copy and paste the HTML information into the .htm and .rtf files and save. Copy and paste the TXT information below into the .txt file and save. Restart Outlook and create a new message. Your signatures option should now have your new signatures available for HTML, Rich-Text and Text Only emails, with the correct formatting.

* If you can't find the "Application Data" folder, you may have instructed Microsoft Windows to hide application folders. From any explorer window, click Folder Options, select the View tab from the dialog box that opens, scroll down to Hidden files and folders in the list, and check Show hidden files and folders instead of Do not show hidden files and folders. This will make "Application Data" visible.
